Rules
The PR trophy was introduced in 1990 to District 105M to try to encourage and motivate clubs to promote their activities, therefore increasing the profile of Lions Clubs.
The judges are looking for a club to have achieved the best PR through a sustained effort in promoting Lions.
This can be for:-
1. One event, or
2. A number of events held during the current year.
To enter you need to retain details of all of your club PR activities and achievements backed up with photographs where possible.
You need to keep press cuttings and records of any PR activities such as radio interviews and promotion activities. If you have a display of an event, try and get a photograph of it. Don’t forget to keep copies of promotion leaflets, posters etc.
The competition year runs from 1st March to the last day of February, in order that your entry can be judged and the cup awarded at District Convention.
Submit your entry no later than two weeks prior to convention to the District Competitions Officer, details can be found in your Lions Directory.
Unlike the scrapbook competition, presentation is not as important as the quality of the PR your club has achieved.
