District RegistrarMy key role is to constantly develop and maintain the District Membership Statistics and Databases and to liaise with the Club Secretaries to ensure timely and accurate submission of Monthly Membership Reports (MMR’s) and Annual Activity Reports, (AAR’s.) This further involves inter-communication with International HQ, the District Governor and MDHQ, the latter to assist, in particular, with development and maintenance of the MD LION Magazine Distribution Database by regularly sending in Membership changes gleaned from the MMR’s. Liaison with the District MERL Team, District Treasurer and Webmaster & IT Coordinator is vital, not the least because of our Association’s change from paper processing to communication via email and Website. Helping Clubs to rapidly convert to the benefits of electronic submission of MMR’s, AAR’s and PU101’s, (Club Officers’ Details) is also vital and this is offered by direct consultation or the downloadable Quick Reference links on the International Website.
