MISSION STATEMENT:

I want to put a SMILE on all Lions’ faces as WE SERVE

Neil Chisholm
District Governor 105 M, 2011-12

SMILE WE SERVE the ACTION PLAN 2011-12

I am listing in bullet style my priorities in the coming year. This list will however change over time.

SERVICE

  • District Web site for Fund-Raising ideas
  • Promote Youth Projects; especially Young Leaders in Service and Adopt a Youth Club
  • Promote Health Projects; especially Message in a Bottle, St Dunstan’s appeal and World Sight Day

MEMBERSHIP

  • Encourage Clubs to do a Yellow Card Drop.
  • Ask Clubs to look at the “My Ideal Club” programme, as it gives all club members a chance to voice their opinions anonymously.
  • Remember that Out of Service comes Membership. At all events promote your club. Have information available.

INTERNATIONAL

  • More after International Convention

LEADERSHIP

  • Being split from Membership to heighten its profile
  • District Leadership Team will be providing training.
  • Pauline Fanti is the District Leadership Officer and Phil White is the District Training Officer. glt@lions105m.org.uk
  • We are looking at having a Spring Forum for training next year.

ENJOY

  • There will be a District Fund-Raising project later this year. More details later.
